To establish PACES as a centre of excellence in the study of European countries, and recognized at national and international level.
To develop European area study within International Relations discipline and to provide academic contribution in the study of Europe.
To provide information on European political, economy, social, and security issues.
To develop national and international cooperation in teaching, research, and service to community programmes on European study at national and international level.
To develop policy paper and input on European issues.
